Alice Cooper announces ‘Paranormal’, first album in six years

Fans of the Coop can breathe at last – Alice Cooper’s 27th album is due this summer.

While simultaneously announcing the band’s signing to earMUSIC, the album entitled ‘Paranormal’ is scheduled for release on 28th July.

Produced in collaboration with Bob Ezrin, Cooper’s legendary sidekick, the album will be on sale as a two-disc CD – why two, we hear you ask?

There’s more – the second disc will feature a mini-album of three new songs compiled with original Alice Cooper bandmates Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith and Michael Bruce, complete with various live recordings to boot.

As is the norm with the shock rock icon, ‘Paranormal’ will feature a number of glittering guest slots, including U2’s Larry Mullen Jr., ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and Deep Purple’s Roger Glover.

If you’ve yet to see the vaudeville villain’s stage show, or you’re dying to hear some of the new tracks live, you can catch Alice Cooper on the road in November on his first headline UK tour in five years.
