Having recently released their polarising new album One More Light to great success on both sides of the Atlantic, Linkin Park have just announced a new addition to their UK tour in July.
In a rare move, Linkin Park will be playing a non-arena show by playing London’s Brixton Academy on the 4th of July. Linkin Park have played arenas almost exclusively in the UK for the last ten years so this is set to be a very special show. Tickets on go on pre-sale through Live Nation Wednesday (1st June) with the general sale following on Thursday (2nd June).
Although One More Light did not hit the number one spot in the UK album charts as most of their past releases have done (charting at 4th), they’ve been battling the likes of Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran this time around – who some would say their new album would have more in common with than the bulk of their old albums. The Rock Sins verdict on One More Light can be read here.
