Currently putting the finishing touches to their new album Medusa, Paradise Lost have just announced an awesome one off show at London’s Electric Ballroom with none other than Pallbearer. With the show announcement that is likely to delight fans of doom metal everywhere, here’s Paradise Lost’s main man Nick Holmes on looking forward to November’s show:

‘It’s always a pleasure to play a show in Camden, the home of many great writers such as George Orwell, Mary Shelley, and Charles Dickens. The area was also the inspiration for Withnail and I, and it’s home to one of London’s premier music venues, The Electric Ballroom! Great to be playing there in November along with our new label mates Pallbearer!’

Pallbearer’s bassist Joe Rowland is equally as enthusiastic with the announcement, having given this short sharp statement about the show:

“We are both thrilled and honoured to join the legends that are Paradise Lost in London this fall!”

Both bands will also be appearing at Damnation Festival 2017 in Leeds the next day with Paradise Lost announced as one of the festival’s headliners. Tickets for the London show go on sale on Friday 19th May 2017 through Seetickets and MyTicket.co.uk. Tickets for Damnation Festival are on sale now at the following link – http://www.damnationfestival.co.uk/tickets. Paradise Lost’s new album Medusa will be released at the end of the Summer (exact date still tbc) through Nuclear Blast Records.

  1. The last few PL albums have been really strong. Especially after a decade of the more softened electro-tinged sound they were enamoured with.
