Kent rockers Press To Meco are a band we’ve long been fans of here at Rock Sins. So understandably we’re delighted with the news of their return with a brand new single, and the announcement of a brand new album for later this year.

Firstly, the new album. It will be called Here’s To The Fatigue, and is being released on the 17th of November. The album has been self-funded by Press To Meco and will be self released. The first single from the album is titled If All Your Parts Don’t Make A Whole, and has been accompanied by the release of a video for the track, which you can watch right here:

To explain just what the new single is about, here’s the word from the Press To Meco boys themselves:

“The song is about having a quarter life crisis, feeling like there’s something wrong with you and being troubled by all the unknown in life. The verses are a person breaking down from these issues whilst the chorus is a consoling voice, saying that everyone has the same feelings and to not dwell on the questions you’ll never have the answers to.”

Meanwhile, thoughts on the album as a whole, which was recorded in Texas with legendary producer Machine are equally as interesting:

“The new songs focus a lot on becoming disillusioned with your life and more emotionally weary with age. The album has a lot of existential angst, but also a few moments of clarity where it’s saying to just let go, lift your legs and float down the stream.”

More from the Press To Meco camp as we get closer to the release of the new album!
