Last time out British black metal favourites Cradle Of Filth were our winners, and this time we’ve got another six videos of all kinds for you to choose from.
Where else are we going to start this time but with our favourite Florida metallers? Trivium are back and in a big way with their new ripsnorter of a single, The Sin And The Sentence. After Silence In The Snow’s more melodic approach, some of the speed and fire is definitely back in the band if this single is anything to go by. It’s a rather interesting video too, with something of a last supper theme. Enjoyed The Sin And The Sentence? Then vote for Matt, Corey, Paolo and Alex!
The always entertaining and extremely creative Mr Jamie Lenman is up next, with his video Hell In A Fast Car. We actually don’t want to see too much about this one, apart from the fact it greatly amused us, so you’ll just have to watch it to find out the full story. It’s a pretty good song too!
Fresh from the release of their brand new EP Freedom (read the Rock Sins review), Japanese dance metallers Crossfaith return to video of the week with the lead single and title track from that EP. Featuring a guest turn from Enter Shikari’s Rou Reynolds (sounding better here than he has for Shikari in some time), it’s an absolutely blistering song with a very entertaining, dystopian type video. The total package as usual from one of the far east’s finest musical exports.
From Japan to Bromley and Croydon, and the return of UK alt-rockers Press To Meco. Having just announced their brand new album will be released later this year, the first single from the album, If All Your Parts Don’t Make A Whole could be their finest track in quite awhile. A simple yet very effective video accompanies a very strong track. We suggest you check it out ASAP.
While British metallers The Raven Age didn’t quite get it completely right with their debut album Darkness Will Rise earlier this year, there were some fine songs on it, and The Dying Embers Of Life was one of them. With a seaside video that captures the essence of the track perfectly, there is much to be admired here from a band that many have great hopes for.
Last but not least this time out, a dose of the extreme courtesy of Scottish metallers Deadly Inscription and their new single Cemetary Wind. With a video that offers up doses of gore (we would probably advise NSFW) alongside an assault on the eardrums, if you like things at the more extreme end of the metal spectrum, Deadly Inscription could be your latest video of the week!
So there we have it, six videos, as always there can only be one winner. The contest closes at 12pm midday UK time on Sunday 13th of August. Happy voting!
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
