Video Of The Week 16th October – Marilyn Manson, Cane Hill, CKY, Arch Enemy & Harbour Sharks

Rock Sins Video Of The Week

Having been won last time out by Scottish two piece Huxtable, it’s time for the next Rock Sins video of the week with another five bands vying for the votes!

First up this week are US breakthrough metallers Cane Hill with Too Far Gone. The song, by the band’s own admission, is about their “short trip down the rabbit hole” using LSD ,and unspurprisingly the video is quite reflective of this. If you want to see them tearing up venues across the UK, you’ll have to wait until January when they are supporting Motionless In White but this should help tide you over in the meantime.

The God Of F*** himself Marilyn Manson returns once more with a typically macabre video for his new single Say10, taken from his brand new album Heaven Upside Down. What sets this video apart from many of Manson’s previous videos? Well it’s got Johnny Depp in it for starters, and that’ll be enough for an awful lot of people! If the appearance by Jack Sparrow himself isn’t enough, we’d just recommend you check it out, but perhaps not in the office if you have a desk job.

Gearing up for the release of their debut album A History Of Violence which is out next week, Kingston collective Harbour Sharks have a dark and shadowy video to go with their politically charged anthem False Flags. It’s also the kind of track that’s likely to set things off in a big way in the live environment, so check it out, and see if Harbour Sharks are your video of the week!

A somewhat simpler video than the last couple for one of our favourite Scandinavian metal exports Arch Enemy, but The Race sees them doing what they do best – melting faces off with riffs, solos and Alissa White-Gluz’s heavy as an anvil vocals. Like a small taste of an intimate Arch Enemy show, it’ll leave you wanting more.

Last up this week are CKY as they continue their comeback with their latest video, Head For A Breakdown. It sees the band on the road in various locations, including out the front of none other than Buckingham Palace when they were in the UK earlier this year. If CKY’s latest offering ticks your boxes, you know what to do!

There we are once again – five videos, only one can win. The vote closes at midday UK time on the 26th of October. Get voting!
