As they gear up for the release of their new album Catharsis in just under a month, Machine Head have got a couple of bits of news for us.
Firstly, as part of their huge “Evening With” UK tour that is taking place in May 2018, Manchester’s long love affair with Machine Head has been well documented down the years. It is something that continues to this day, as Machine Head have just added a second Manchester show to the tour in response to huge demand from their Manchester fans. The extra show takes place at Manchester Academy on the 26th of May. Tickets for the extra show, as well as the rest of the tour, are on sale now. As part of their upcoming album Catharsis’ release, the digipak version of the album contains a full recorded concert from the San Francisco Regency Ballroom in 2015. The band are offering a preview of this show by releasing the video of the performance of Ten Ton Hammer from that show, which you can check out below:
Catharsis will be released on the 26th of January through Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
