Columbus metalcore favourites Beartooth are back with a bang!
Unveiling news of their brand new album Disease, due late September 2018 on Red Bull Records, Caleb Shomo and friends have wasted no time in unveiling the first track from the album, Diseases’ title track. You can check out the video for Disease below:
Those who’d like a taste of the album ahead of its September 28th release date are in luck – in addition to the title track, anyone pre-ordering the album will also get another new track, Bad Listener, as instant grat preview tracks. Pre-orders for the album in various formats are available now from Beartooth’s official website.
Based around some very dark themes like mental health and deep seated issues from the early part of his life, Caleb Shomo is leaving little doubt as to the subject matter on Disease.
“The album is a whirlwind of emotion, crazy highs, crazy lows, and lots of intensity. This record isn’t about winning anything. It’s about trying to even begin to learn how to deal with things. It’s hard to process just how dark you can get, what you can really put yourself through with expectations. It’s like starting from the beginning all over again. At the end of the day, it is a very dark album.”
After the release of their new album, Beartooth will embark on an extensive UK tour to help promote the album. Their next appearance in the UK will be at the annual double header of Reading and Leeds Festivals on the August bank holiday weekend.
