Denizens of ArcTanGent, your heaviest headliners yet are here and ready to melt your ears. Swedish djent pioneers Meshuggah have been announced as the first headliners for ArcTanGent 2019, in a UK exclusive performance for 2019. Their appearance at one of the UK’s fastest growing and most well loved festivals established in recent times will be Meshuggah’s only UK appearance for the whole of next year. Here’s what Meshuggah had to say about it!
“Our first festival headline show in the UK is a big deal. It’s something you strive for. We’re bringing the most extreme show of our career!”
Festival honcho James Scarlett was absolutely delighted to have secured Meshuggah as the first headliner for next year’s festival:
“When I’m booking the line up for ATG I’m looking for bands that are left-field, forward-thinking, challenging, progressive and maybe even a little bit mind-expanding. Meshuggah are all of this and more. To have them closing our main stage is truly an honour and I think may well end up being the best ever headline set we’ve had at ArcTanGent.”
ArcTanGent 2019 will take place in its usual location of Fernhill Farm, Compton Martin, near Bristol, on the 15th – 17th of August 2019. A variety of tickets are already on sale from the official festival website. Stay tuned for further updates and line up announcements in the weeks to come!
