This week we’ve got a big assortment of tunes both old and new, featuring bands who have upcoming albums, tours just announced, and one or two old favourites just for the hell of it.
We’re kicking things off with a double dose of Architects, who announced their new album Holy Hell yesterday, along with a huge UK tour for early 2019 – so of course we had to include new single Hereafter and possibly the best song they’ve ever written, Doomsday. We also have new singles from several bands with imminent or recent new releases – the likes of Good Charlotte, Lacuna Coil, Boston Manor, Thrice, Beartooth, Monster Truck, Haken, Those Damn Crows, God Complex and Gama Bomb.
Metallica have announced that And Justice For All is getting the deluxe re-release treatment, so we pay homage to that with a live inclusion of Eye Of The Beholder recorded at the (then) Hammersmith Odeon 30 years ago. Our friends Bowling For Soup are teaming up with their pop punk pals Patent Pending for the Almost Christmas tour so both bands are included – who knew Patent Pending had covered Little Mix?! You do now! Rounding things off, we’ve got tracks from Halflives, Time, The Valuator and Megadeth – just because we felt like it!
