Team Bloodstock have given us a pre-halloween treat with six new bands to join Sabaton on the 2019 Bloodstock Open Air Line up!
First up, joining Sabaton on the Friday are Finnish thrashers Children Of Bodom, who are always a welcome sight and sound at any UK festival. Their appearance at Catton Hall in 2019 is a UK festival exclusive for Bloodstock, so the regulars will be very pleased that Team BOA have landed Alexi and friends for their only UK festival appearance of 2019.
Joining the line up on Saturday are UK black metal royalty Cradle Of Filth. Having some unfinished business with the festival, Dani Filth wants to settle a decade old issue:
“Obviously we want to finish what we started ten years ago, that is to finish our set! And for that alone we are really, really looking forward to bringing a massive Cradle show back to the BLOODSTOCK fans. We f**king can’t wait!”
Four new acts join the line up for Sunday of Bloodstock 2019. Scandinavia adds to it’s already sizeable contribution to next year’s BOA by having both Soilwork and Hypocrisy join the line up. It’s hard to work out who we are more excited about seeing (we can’t choose right now, so we will say both!). The fact both bands should have new albums by the time Bloodstock rolls around only adds to the excitement.
Also joining the line up on Sunday at Queensryche, while following on from Twisted Sister’s last ever UK show being at Bloodstock, Dee Snider is back with his solo band, promoting his very well received (and Jamey Jasta produced) album For The Love Of Metal.
