Following Port Noir’s win last time out, we’ve got another video of the week contest for everyone to enjoy!
Fresh from their number three chart position – the first top 10 album chart position for a German speaking act ever, we’re kicking off with a brand new video from Rammstein. The video for Auslander is just as big scale and impressive as the previous two for Deutschland and Radio, but very different. As with all Rammstein videos, it’s just best to watch, so we’ll save our breath (figuratively) and just say check it out!
Nepalese outfit Underside have made a tremendous impact over the last few months and with songs like Gadhimai, it’s not hard to see why. You’ll be able to get a proper taste of this in the flesh if you’re going to Download in just a couple of weeks.
Sheffield natives Your Life & Mine have been making a good impression ahead of the release of their upcoming EP Under One Roof. Their current single, Remind To Remember, is a fundraiser for the Young Minds charity, and a great song to boot. Will this tempt you to lend them your vote?
A very colourful video and one that the band feel gives them a very special connection to their fans, Mayday Parade have released an appropriately colourful video for Looks Red, Tastes Blue. The guys will be back in the UK later this Summer for Reading and Leeds but this should help to keep you going on the wait for their return!
Last up this week, Bristol natives Phoxjaw are celebrating their signing to Hassle Records for their upcoming EP by releasing a video for their new single Melt, You’re A Face Of Wax. It’s dark, it’s brooding and there’s even a tiny Bohemian Rhapsody homage in there. Is that enough to win your votes? Time will tell.
