In Flames – melodic metal icons, co-founders of the Gothenburg Sound, and favourites of ours here at Rock Sins for the past decade and beyond. During that time we’ve seen them in all kinds of venues, whether it was opening impressively for Avenged Sevenfold at The O2 Arena, or headline shows like their performance at Shepherds Bush Empire a few years back.
With the tour they have just announced, the UK has been granted a chance to see In Flames as they never have before. This Spring, In Flames will play the most intimate shows they have played in this country in over fifteen years, giving fans old and new a chance to get very up close and personal with the band.
The nine date run of shows kicks off in Edinburgh on the 25th of April at the Liquid Room, and makes its way down the UK, finishing up in Southampton at the Engine Rooms on the 5th of May. Along the way is a London show at the University of London Union (ULU) – which is the smallest London headline show for the band we can remember since they played the Mean Fiddler in 2002! The full list of shows is as follows:
25th April – Edinburgh – Liquid Room
26th April – Liverpool – O2 Academy 2
27th April – Sheffield – Leadmill
29th April – Bristol – Thekla
30th April – Wolverhampton – KK’s Steel Mill
1st May – Stoke – Sugarmill
2nd May – London – ULU
3rd May – Brighton – Concorde 2
5th May – Southampton – Engine Rooms
