Happy New Year to all our wonderful readers, and we bring New Year’s Gifts courtesy of the folks at Slam Dunk Festival! Originally announced on Christmas Day itself, the Slam Dunk have unleashed a wonderful present for all festival attendees – ten more bands!
Top of the pile are huge favourites of ours here at Rock Sins – Bury Tomorrow! Having just completed their biggest ever UK headline tour, playing their smash hit album Black Flame in full and more, Bury Tomorrow will return to Slam Dunk to lay waste to Hatfield and Leeds once more. It promises to be one of, if not, THE, heavy set of the weekend.
Speaking of heavy bands being announced for Slam Dunk 2020, if Bury Tomorrow weren’t enough, Stray From The Path have also been added to the line up! If you like things a little more technical, then one of our favourite recent musical discoveries, Australians Polaris are also onboard for next year’s festival. If you’re not familiar with these guys – they are well worth spending some time to get acquainted!
Also returning next year are the band who are undoubtedly the Slam Dunk Festival house band – it can only be Zebrahead! Making the much shorter trip over from St Albans will be UK pop punks Trash Boat, while the line up also gains Dance Gavin Dance, Normandie, The Faim, We Came As Romans and Days N Daze.
All of the above bands join the already announced headliners Sum 41 and Don Broco plus the likes of State Champs, Billy Talent, Reel Big Fish, Refused, Dream State, Young Guns, The Wonder Years, Your Demise and many more, with more still to come!
Tickets for Slam Dunk 2020 are on sale now from the official festival website. Stay tuned for further updates as we get closer to the festival!
