Sadly, and inevitably, in the last few minutes the organisers of Download Festival have issued a statement confirming the 2020 festival will not be able to go ahead owing to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak. You can read their full statement below:
As sad as this is, it is undoubtedly the right decision, and we wish all the Download Festival team well. Anyone looking for more direct info should visit the festival website.
Of course, we will keep our readers posted with any future news about Download, as well as the other UK festivals. We are also maintaining a thread of cancelled and postponed tours which is being updated regularly.
