HIM frontman Ville Valo has largely been out of the limelight since HIM disbanded at the end of 2017. He did release an album under the “Ville Valo & Agents” banner last year, but, seemingly from out of nowhere, Ville has returned with a brand new three track EP titled Gothica Fennica Vol 1.
With its roots firmly in the classic HIM sound, Gothica Fennica Vol 1 is available to listen to as we speak. The EP has been released under the “VV” name. Listen to the first track from the EP, Salute The Sanguine right now below:

HIM disbanded at the end of 2017 after 25 years together as a band. Their most successful period was in the mid 00’s, were songs like Buried Alive By Love, The Sacrement and Wings Of A Butterfly were permanent fixtures on the likes of Kerrang TV and Scuzz here in the UK.
