Tickets for Download 2021 are on sale now! As we should have all been enjoying our first days’ action in the fields of Donington, those who want to want to get their hands on tickets for next years’ festival can now do so.
A variety of ticket bundles, including 3 and 5 night camping of various kinds (standard camping, quiet camping, eco camping) as well as the arena only weekend tickets, and the previous camper van passes, are now available. Anyone who wants to get their early tickets for the 2021 Download Festival can now do so directly from Ticketmaster.
But there is plenty of entertainment this weekend for those who were due to be at Download 2020! Download TV is taking place all across the weekend. The event kicked off on Thursday night with the online version of The Boardie Takeover! Each day is having daytime sessions with a variety of activities, such as Doom Yoga, cooking lessons, interviews, live sessions and more. Then, each evening (or late afternoon in the case of Sunday), a special Download TV special will be broadcast on Download Festival’s YouTube channel – featuring footage from years gone by at the festival (including some that has never been seen before), brand new interviews and other special features.
The first session of Download TV has already taken place, featuring the Doom Yoga and a live session from the very enjoyable Black Futures, which can be re-watched below.
The second session of Download TV, including the world premiere of the new Grey Daze track (Chester Bennington’s old band before Linkin Park), is underway now:
Head to Download’s YouTube Channel for the evening performances, starting at 7pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 4:30pm on Sunday.
Download TV is raising money for the NHS Charities Fund – so if you can spare a few quid, please donate while you’re enjoying the online activities this weekend.
