This exciting new step in the band’s career is hugely deserved and will no doubt lead on to a massive boost in popularity and recognition for the group. When asked about signing to Year Of The Rat Records, lead singer, Craig Lawrence had this to say: “We are incredibly pleased to join the YOTR roster and have them alongside us for this next chapter of The Young Hearts. They have shown great belief in out band and our music and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
The feeling is definitely mutual between the band and label, as owner of YOTR, James Illsley is hugely excited to bring this brilliant punk band on board for this sensational new venture.
“I have been working with The Young Hearts for a few years now as a manager at Saviour Management, so it was only fitting to bring the band in as our first signing to the label. The band are going to be releasing some huge singles over the next 6 months or so and we are really excited to sink our teeth into this release cycle,” says James.
