Following weeks of Internet speculation, the rumour mill has proven true; Deftones are back! Having last released new music back in 2016 with the critically and fan acclaimed Gore album, fans won’t have to wait any longer to hear some new Deftones music.

The band, led by Chino Moreno, have just announced their brand new album Ohms. Ohms is set for release on the 25th of September via Warner Records. The album will feature ten tracks, and the first of those is available right now.

The video for the album’s first single and title track is a visually stunning clip, directed by Rafatoon, which can be enjoyed below:

The album artwork for Ohms has been created by long time Deftones collaborator Frank Maddocks, who was also responsible for the bands’ iconic White Pony album cover. The album art first appeared on the Deftones website a few weeks back with no explanation, leading fans to speculate on its meaning.

Another old friend, engineer and producer Terry Date, who worked on Adrenaline, Around The Fur and White Pony, has returned to the fold to resume production duties on Ohms.
