Independent label Hassle Records will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion they’ll be releasing a project named 15 x 15 later in the year.
15 x 15 will see the label release special editions of 15 key releases that have shaped the label’s existence. Each record will be issued on crystal-coloured vinyl & released on 30th October 2020.
Records will be reissued from the likes of Cancer Bats (Birthing The Giant), Four Year Strong (Rise or Die Trying) and We Are The Ocean (Cutting Our Teeth).
Initially formed in the 90s, Hassle Records gained attention in the early 2000s for securing the rights to release then little-known band Fall Out Boy’s debut record, Take This To Your Grave, which also heralded the mainstream rise of emo as a genre.
Co-owner of Hassle Records, Wez, said, “Hopefully our choices accurately represent what a diverse sound we have to the label, and that the passion we have for the music and the bands shines through.”
