Watching a concert from our bedrooms is something most of us could have never seen happening, but it’s something we’ve quickly managed to get used to. It’s definitely not the same experience as going to a live show, but if it means we can continue to support the artists and venues we love; then it’s something pretty great.
Joining the growing list of bands putting on streaming events are Northlane, who will be hosting two evenings, featuring footage from their highly praised 2019 performance at The Roundhouse in Sydney. You can tune in to the events on the 21st and 22nd of August, with the event being hosted a pay-per-view via Netgigs. Not only will you be able to catch a brilliant live performance, but the band will also be hosting a live chat throughout both screenings.
The first show of the Alien World Tour was shot using 14 cameras to a sold-out home crowd. The production level is also something beyond impressive, with the audio being mixed and mastered by Alien engineer, Chris Blancato. This unbelievable performance truly shows off the best of Northlane, pulling themselves back to life and showing off a strong turning point for the band.
If two nights of Northlane’s live stream isn’t enough, their recently released documentary, Negative Energy, is also available to watch. This documentary gives fans an even deeper insight into the stormy period the band went through, and the best part is, you can even get a sneak peak of the band playing Sleepless for the first time, a track that Northlane will never play live again.
