Emo / alt-rock favourites AFI have big news for all their fans. Following the recent release of their double singles – “Twisted Tongues” and “Escape From Los Angeles” – their first new music in almost three years, AFI can today confirm news of their upcoming new album.

Titled Bodies, the album lands on the 11th of June 2021 through Rise Records. To celebrate the news, AFI have released two more tracks from the album for immediate listening – “Looking Tragic” and “Begging For Trouble”. A video for one of the new tracks, Looking Tragic, is available to check out below:

AFI’s enigmatic frontman Davey Havok had this to say about Looking Tragic:

‘Looking Tragic’ addresses the theme of over-stimulation resulting in desensitisation. Melodic and driving, the song came to life quickly and immediately stood out as a track to make bodies, if not sentiments, move.

All four of the recently revealed tracks can be played on Spotify below:

The new album is the first from AFI since 2017’s “AFI (The Blood Album)”. Bodies has been produced by AFI’s own Jade Puget and sees Tony Hofer on mixing duties. Those who would like to pre-order the album can find the relevant links collected in one handy location by Rise Records.
