Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer Tilian has released his latest single and music video for track Is Anarchy A Good Hobby?Alongside the release of the new song and visual, Tilian has also revealed details of his next record titled Factory Reset set for release April 23rd, 2021 through Rise Records.
Reflecting upon the new single’s sound and meaning, Tilian writes Is Anarchy A Good Hobby? is all about “the joy that is released after a necessary destruction. Musically, I tried to take production risks and try things I haven’t before. I imagine it might be more polarizing for current fans, because it’s meant to stand out as a dramatic moment in the middle of the album.”

Most notably famed for his work as the vocalist of American rock band Dance Gavin Dance, Tilian is once again stepping out on his own with his fourth solo record Factory Reset.
An album that has allowed the singer to have full creative power and control, this sense of freedom has allowed Tilian to experiment with his music more now than ever before. “[I wanted] to make the album that I want to hear. ‘What would be my favorite band?’ as opposed to, ‘What is everyone’s favorite band?” This outlook has resulted in his most exciting, innovative and thrilling body of work to date, incorporating a large amalgamation of alt-pop, psychedelia, heavy prog and hip-hop all under one musical roof.
