Australian pop-punk outfit Yours Truly have debuted the music video to accompany their opening track Siamese Souls, taken from the band’s breakout 2020 debut album, Self Care.
Siamese Souls as a standalone song tackles lead vocalist Mikaila Delgado’s journey to discovering Astrology as a deeper meaning to uncovering that her personal relationship was reaching its ending stages, something explored in the songs lyrical themes, as well as the accompanying music video, where Delgado can be seen to be reading tarot cards to uncover her future fate ahead.
Speaking about the meaning of the song, Delgado said “It’s about sugar coating the fate of a relationship by looking towards astrology. It can be so easy to become ignorant to the reality of the situation because you convince yourself the universe is bigger than you.”

Siamese Souls provides the opening track to Yours Truly’s first full length record release titled Self Care, which dropped back in September 2020. The album took Yours Truly from Australia’s pop-punk bright lights to one of the world’s most watched up and comers in the alternative music scene, having racked up in excess of 5.5 million streams and counting.
