UK metalcore favourites Bury Tomorrow have today announced on their social media that longtime guitarist and clean vocalist Jason Cameron has left the band.

In a substantial statement, the band reflected that over the last eighteen months of lockdowns, different people in the band wanted different things from their lives in and out of Bury Tomorrow and as a result, Jason would be leaving the band.

The full statement can be seen below:

Responding to a fan’s question on Twitter, frontman Daniel Winter-Bates has also confirmed the band will be pulling out of their scheduled appearance at Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2021. They are currently planning to appear at Slam Dunk Festival 2021 as planned.

If there is any news about a replacement for Jason in Bury Tomorrow in the coming days and weeks, we will bring it to our readers as and when anyone is announced.

Anyone wishing to see Bury Tomorrow at their next scheduled appearance – at Slam Dunk Festival 2021 in Hatfield and Leeds in early September – can get tickets on the following link.

Bury Tomorrow’s most recent album Cannibal was released this time last year on Music For Nations to great critical and fan acclaim.
