Trivium have sadly announced the postponement of their imminent UK tour. Scheduled to tour the UK in early November before moving onto a full European tour, practical and logistical issues related to the COVID pandemic mean that it is no longer realistic for them to make the trip. The UK part of the tour, now named the “Dead Men and Dragons Tour”, will take place in January 2023. All tickets will remain valid for the new shows. Confirmation of the new tour dates is as follows:

Trivium – January 2023 Dead Men And Dragons UK Tour Dates

12th – Glasgow – O2 Academy
13th – Birmingham – O2 Academy
14th – Manchester – O2 Victoria Warehouse
15th – London – O2 Academy Brixton

Here’s an update from Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto on the tour postponement:

We are deeply disappointed that we have to postpone these dates as we were determined to be one of the first international acts to resume touring across Europe.  Unfortunately with the uncertainty of cross border travel and restrictions it’s become impossible for these dates to proceed as planned. We can assure you we were doing everything up until the last minute to figure out a way to do the shows and it wasn’t a decision we made lightly. We appreciate this is a way off, but we promise to make it worth the wait and we have two new albums worth of material we haven’t toured yet to bring to you. We can’t wait to return and hope to see all of you at the rescheduled dates!

As mentioned above, all original tickets remain valid. Those wanting to purchase tickets for the new dates can do so on this link.

Trivium have announced that Heaven Shall Burn are re-joining the tour as special guests as originally planned. Coming onboard as openers for the new dates are UK hardcore metal crossover favourites Malevolence in what is likely to be a very popular move.

Trivium released their new album, In The Court Of The Dragon, two weeks ago to huge critical acclaim. The album landed at No20 in the UK album charts (without any vinyl sales). It also hit Number 1 in the UK rock and metal album charts. Stay tuned for more Trivium updates including a huge exclusive interview with bassist Paolo Gregoletto in the coming days!
