Loathe Release New Single ‘Dimorphous Display’

Loathe have released their first new music of 2022 with their new single Dimorphous Display. The track remained in demo form for several years but the band were given the time to experiment around due to the pandemic. Unable to tour their 2020 release I Let It In And It Took Everything, the band have produced this new track and their ambient soundtrack The Things They Believe which came out last year.

The band states “Dimorphous Display, in its first iteration, had been in the vault for a good few years before we decided to start work on the song together as a band – so finally being able to release it into the world feels like a great accomplishment. The initial demo was filed soon after we had finished up with ‘I Let It In And It Took Everything’ but with lockdowns occurring across the world, this gave us the opportunity to experiment with different collaborators and thus final tracking was completed some time in the middle of 2021 at Giant Wafer Studios.”

“We worked alongside our new friend Eddie Al-Shakarchi on capturing the rawest incarnation of the Loathe sound to date and we are very happy with the result.

Whilst the momentum of their breakthrough 2020 album was put on hold due to the pandemic, Loathe have continued to build off the back of its success. From a run of UK headline shows and festival appearances to the announcement of a 23-date US tour in April and May with Code Orange, they show no signs of stopping anytime soon.
