Corey Taylor had promised the world that new Slipknot was coming in 2022. True to his word, the Iowan nine piece metal juggernauts have just revealed details of their upcoming new album “The End, So Far“. Releasing on the 30th of September, The End, So Far will be Slipknot’s seventh album to release with their long time label Roadrunner Records.
Alongside the album announcement, there’s a brand new single and music video. “The Dying Song (Time To Sing)” is the first new music to be heard from Slipknot since 2021 single The Chapeltown Rag (which is also included on the album). The video, which features some crazy visual distortion effects, can be found below:

Having recently completed two legs of the US Knotfest tour, Slipknot are set for a month long stay in Europe where they will play arenas and headline various festivals including Knotfest Germany, Wacken Open Air and Knotfest Finland.
There are currently no UK dates scheduled for Slipknot – but we hope this changes soon. They were last in the UK on a UK arena headline tour in January 2020 (read our review of the London show here).
