UK metalcore favourites Bury Tomorrow are ready for their next chapter! They have today announced the release of their upcoming new album The Seventh Sun. Their new release will land on the 31st of March 2023 through Music For Nations.
Alongside the announcement of the album, Bury Tomorrow have dropped the first single from The Seventh Sun and it’s a cracker. Abandon Us is the first taste of The Seventh Sun era of Bury Tomorrow, and we think fans both new and long term are likely to be very happy with what Dani, Dayvd, Ed, Adam, Kristan and Tom have been hard at work creating.
You can check out the video for Abandon Us below:
For more about their new single, we’ll hand over to Bury Tomorrow themselves:
“It started with a demo simply entitled, Abandon. Taken from a time of loss, uncertainty and insecurity, the intent was to create a heavy track that mirrored these feelings. The lyrics highlight the frustration and anger at the current state of our society and how our so-called leaders seem intent on satisfying self-interest above the collective needs of humanity. Visceral and heavy, this track is for each and every one of you that has stood by us either from the beginning, or supported us along the way.”
The full tracklisting for the album, along with the beautiful artwork, can be found below:
