Lick It Up! KISS Launch ‘Cold Gin’ Navy Strength

“You wanted the best, you got the best”. Tantalising tastebuds on tongues as long as Gene Simmons’, KISS have launched their own navy strength gin in collaboration with Brands For FansCold Gin Navy Strength. Guaranteed to ensure a ‘Crazy, Crazy Night’, this 57% tipple has been expertly created by globally recognised in-house master blender Daniel Henriksson – we hope while adorned in KISS paint tucked away in his Swedish mixologist lab. Single-pot and column distilled, it’s a premium product, for a premium rock band.

Here’s the official tasting profile for Cold Gin Navy Strength:
Colour – water clear
Nose – very clear tones of juniper, citrus, and herbs create a generous aroma and classic gin character
Palate – well balanced with clear character of juniper, citrus and herbs
Finish – intensifies and grows in the mouth. Full bodied, clear and lasting character of juniper with a smooth finish which is distinctively and maintains an astringent character.

Our non-expert and slightly inebriated reviewer definitely tasted the citrus, and got black pepper and Cardamon notes too. A clean and crisp gin, it’s not excessively floral or aromatic, making it a great choice to blend with your mixer of choice, or to sip straight on ice. We recommend enjoying it with either 1976’s Destroyer or 1975’s Dressed To Kill on vinyl.

Not only is the smooth taste main-stage worthy, Cold Gin looks great too. The clear bottle is adorned with an iridescent silver label that features The Starchild, The Demon, The Spaceman and The Catman as well as iconic scenes from the New York Skyline. It certainly outclasses the standard labels tucked away in the drinks cabinet.

The KISS Cold Gin Navy Strength is available now in the UK, mainland Europe, Sweden, The Nordics, and in the US via Brands For Fans and Drink It Up By Kiss.

Brands for Fans also have collaborations with Candlemass, Ghost, HammerFall, In Flames, Jonas Åkerlund, Motörhead, Rammstein, Scorpions, Slayer and Sungen – so whatever your taste in music or spirits, they’re sure to have a hit for you, or whichever lucky recipient you treat to a bottle.
