The start of a new year always means music festivals getting us more excited with adding new waves of acts. 2000Trees Festival have once again smashed it out of the park, with us still anticipating 2 remaining headline acts.
Multi award winning 2000trees Festival have now shared a further 50 artists, acts, and bands for us to stick our teeth into. Taking palce at the stunning Upcote Farm near Cheltenham between Wednesday 5th July and Saturday 8th July, this really isn’t a festival to miss.
Joining an already stacked line up, attendees will be able to catch Welsh party starters Skindred who will be playing 2000trees for the first time. It also wouldn’t be trees without festival favourites Deaf Havana. Also announced are Empire State Bastard; a band featuring Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro and Mike Vennart from Oceansize.
For those after a more mondern punk vibe, The Bronx will be performing at the festival alongside Hastings 4 piece Kid Kapichi who return with their debut album ‘This Time Next Year.’ Anyone who i after something a bit heavier can dive into Salt Lake City Metalers Chelsea Grin making their festival debut.
It wouldn’t be trees without some of the best UK talent being displayed, and this year we have the likes of Casey, The Xcerts, Martha, New Pagans joining the line up. As a medium sized festival, it’s also a great place to check out some of the rising stars in the rock and hardcore scene. High Vis, One Step Closer, Fleshwater, and Bad Nerves will all be bringing the noise in July. Other exciting acts we can look forward to seeing across a variety of genres include Witch Fever, Mimi Barks, As Everything Unfolds, Lace Malice, Cody Frost and Lynks.
Sharing excitement for the festival, organiser James Scarlett shared
“Not only have we added some huge bands in Skindred, Deaf Havana and instant-legends Empire State Bastard, but we’re stoked to be bringing even more of the most exciting up-and-coming artists to 2000trees 2023. It’s just going to get bigger and better, don’t sleep on it if you want to join us. 4 Day Tickets will be the first to go and that’ll be sooner rather than later!”
