After rescheduled sessions due to the pandemic, Napalm Death finally got to perform their Campaign For Musical Destruction tour in London at the Electric Ballroom.
And if a pandemic had to stop them from playing last time, the current absence of the bassist Shane Embury and Barney Greenway’s broken leg, did not! As the truly hardcore they are, they manage to put on a great show full of electric energy, capturing the audience with songs across their entire catalogue, from Scum and I Abstain to their newer material from Resentment is Always Seismic released in 2022.
Napalm Death was supported by three, perfectly selected acts, Escuela Grind, Siberian Meat Grinder and Drop Dead – one thing that struck a chord for was a common theme covered by all the bands throughout the night: everyone showed support for equal rights, whether it be towards people or animals, and everyone had a message of tolerance, peace, understanding and love.
We sent Nocturna Photography to capture the show and you can see all the photos from the night in the galleries below.
