VOID OF VISION Release CHRONICLES Complete Album

Void Of Vison have released the complete album CHRONICLES, making the trilogy of the CHRONICLES saga now complete. This album follows the previous releases of the three EPs, CHRONICLES I: LUST, CHRONICLES II: HEAVEN and CHRONICLES III: UNDERWORLD. Along with the release of the album, the metalcore mavericks also announced an exciting vinyl collaborating with Craig Reynolds on The Downbeat Podcast.

Frontman Jack Bergin talks about collaboration stating that they were excited to, “reveal the unreal beast that is CHRONIC(les) to the world, the perfect way to see out our Chronicles era. We’re stoked you can all finally experience the full release on streaming services in its intended order.”

From the heaving four tracks on, CHRONICLES I: LUST, to the towering soundscapes of CHRONICLES II: HEAVEN and futuristic sounds of, CHRONICLES III: UNDERWORLD. The trio of parts show that the complete CHRONICLES is an entity that traverses the past, present and future, which is just the future of the relentlessly inventive Void of Vision DNA.

OHNE SICHT, is a striking opener at for the completed album, at just 90 seconds long, kicking it off with heavy vocals. Fading into GOTHIKA, where vocalist Bergin says that this was about the breakdown of relationships and then the realisation that you must put more effort into them. The next stand-out track is DOMINATRIX a dark-punk hook which is a different territory for Void of Vision to go into. VAMPYR marks another dark entry back into their sound, filled with piercing drums and fierce screaming vocals. ALTAR has the first feature on CHRONICLES, with Hannah Greenwood, who has amazing vocals that mixes against the rage of Void of Vision.

It’s entirely fitting that Void of Vision are completing their CHRONICLES chapter as the year unfolds. 2023 marks an extremely busy year for the band who had an intimate live show in their hometown on Saturday the 25th of February where they played CHRONICLES in full, before they embarked on their national run in March supporting Polaris for their 10-year anniversary tour. For the first time ever, they are also making appearances at Knotfest Australia, alongside Slipknot, Megadeath and more.
