As PVRIS announces the most cinematic sonic and visual experience to date, the highly anticipated LP EVERGREEN released on the 14th of July via Hopeless Records. As a multi-instrumentalist, producer, song writer and all-around creative behind EVERGREEN, Lyndsey Gunnulfsen’s unorthodox creative abilities expand to new heights with her newest creative offering. With PVRIS’ careers being over a near decade long, PVRIS’ ethos has attracted the likes of dynamic list of collaborators, from American hip-hop 070 Shake to British pop-powerhouse Raye.
Showcasing Gunnulfsen’s multifaceted artistry EVERGREEN dynamically evolves from electric delivery to ethereal catharsis, both with equal conviction and maturity. The result of this is an 11-track uncompromising body of work that is a testament to PVRIS’ dedication to craftmanship, resilience and brutal honesty. Gunnulfsen says “EVERGREEN is a reclamation of control in our post-pandemic culture, posing a complex discussion on fame, technology, spectacle, and female autonomy.”
“If you search the definition of ‘evergreen,’ you will find words like enduring, timeless, fresh, unlimited, and renewal. In our modern culture where everything is online, algorithm-based, and instantaneous, it feels like timelessness, longevity and connection could someday become dying concepts. More than ever, PVRIS has, and always will be anti-formula, anti-virality, and anti-instant gratification.”
PVRIS will bring the EVERGREEN experience to the live stage later in 2023, which will begin this May at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival. This will be followed by a 16-date run across the US for the 2023 Sad Summer Festival and 17 arena dates with Fall Out Boy this Autumn. Soon to announce the additional summer dates that will be the largest North American shows of PVRIS’ career.
