Jinjer Release New Single “Kafka” And Announce Highly Anticipated Fifth Album “Duél” Coming In February 2025

Following the success of the bands first live record, Live in Los Angeles, released earlier this year. Progressive metal behemoths Jinjer have finally announced details of their long awaited new studio album, Duél!

Slated for release on February 7th 2025 via Napalm Records, Duél is set to deliver yet another technical tour de force from the Ukranian metal pioneers. With singles like Someone’s Daughter and Rogue having already given fans a taste of what’s to come. Jinjer have also released a brand new single and lyric video to accompany the announcement. The breathtaking “Kafka” which is available to check out below-

Well known for her nigh peerless guttural range. Lead vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk had this to say about the bands latest track- “Being an artist is sometimes beautiful but most of the time it’s brutal… as our art is dissected word for word and ripped apart note by note, we‘re expected to be on point all-the-time … and when we aren’t, we are scandalized. A true artist is vulnerable but the crowd is most often plagued with vultures who pick at every single move you make. It’s a slippery slope when music means the world to us but how quickly praise turns into prosecution… We are all Kings and Queens for a day but most of the time it feels like a Kafka novel for a lifetime. It‘s exciting but surreal and absurd at the same time …”

While their previous studio album, Wallflowers focused more on showcasing Tatiana’s equally impressive clean vocals. Duél promises to bring back a little more of viciousness and aggression that Jinjer are known for. With tracks like the afforementioned Rogue already having hinted at the return of more hefty and brutal breakdowns.

Duél is available to pre-order now. For more information on Jinjer, including upcoming tour dates, you can head over to the bands official website. Or follow them on social media to keep up to date on any other forthcoming announcements.
