Three brand new headliners for Download 2025! For the first time since 2010 the Download Festival has an entirely fresh set of headliners for the Donington faithful to enjoy.
With punk rock legends Green Day making their Download bow on Friday night, the mysterious phenomenon of Sleep Token on Saturday and nu metal icons KoRn on Sunday, its a very varied choice of headliners for 2025.
Alongside their three headliners, Download have announced 90 bands in one of the biggest announcements in the history of the festival. A real mix of familiar faces and fresh acts. Homegrown and from all corners of the globe. Notable newcomers to Download Festival in 2025 include Weezer, Anaal Nathrakh, McFly, Jerry Cantrell, Poppy, Gatecreeper and Svalbard, just to highlight a few.
Familiar UK acts include The Darkness, Bullet For My Valentine, Boston Manor, Cradle Of Filth, Sylosis, Sikth and Bleed From Within. International returners include Spiritbox, Steel Panther, Meshuggah, Airbourne, Northlane, Polaris, Jinjer, Jimmy Eat World, Lorna Shore and The Ghost Inside.
This years’ first announcement was accompanied by an excellent video package. Featuring renown actor Paddy Considine (who is playing this year with his band Riding The Low), it’s definitely a great way to get in the mood for Download 2025!
Tickets for Download Festival 2025 are on pre-sale from 9pm tomorrow (Wednesday 13th November). General sale is from Thursday 14th November at 9pm. This post will be updated with links when they are available.
