Punk fans will have another chance to see the Sex Pistols live.
Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock, 3 out of the 4 in the original line-up, will be joined by Frank Carter to headline the Margate Summer Series this August, performing on Saturday 23rd August.
They will perform the iconic and massively influential 1977 album Never Mind The Bollocks in full. Special guests The Stranglers and The Buzzcocks will support them.
The line-up featuring Carter first played together earlier this year in June to help save London’s iconic Bush Hall, which then was followed up by a short tour across England. These shows received rave reviews from critics and fans alike (check out our review of their Birmingham show).
In particular, Carter was praised for his energy and the life he brought back to the Sex Pistols music. The talented and wild frontman, came to fame as the frontman of hardcore punk band Gallows, before forming Pure Love and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes.
All of his projects are known for their wild and raucous live shows – a perfect fit for the Sex Pistols.
Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter will perform on Saturday 23rd August at Dreamland, Margate, tickets are on sale now.
