British metalcore heroes Bury Tomorrow have dropped ferocious new single, Let Go. Offering fans a third glimpse into their forthcoming album, Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience. The track; which blends aggressive breakdowns with pulsating drum and bass beats, marks a bold new direction for the band. While still maintaining the savage intensity fans have come to expect. With a massive 2025 on the horizon, the band is poised to make a significant impact.
“Let Go” is a song that explores themes of honesty and self-awareness, both within oneself and in relationships with others. Frontman Dani Winter-Bates explained that being dishonest with oneself can lead to decisions made out of fear, resulting in regret. Co-vocalist Tom Prendergast added that the song speaks to the struggle of knowing when to walk away from toxic situations, acknowledging that while every choice comes with a cost, letting go is necessary for growth.
“We often give all of our energy to things that don’t serve us, and ‘Let Go’ is about understanding the cost of those choices and how they shape us,” Prendergast said.
The band’s trajectory has been defined by a series of changes and challenges, including lineup shifts and the roadblocks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the addition of guitarist Ed Hartwell and Prendergast on keyboards/vocals in 2023, coupled with the release of The Seventh Sun, has sparked a renewed sense of purpose and possibility for the band.
Now, with their new album, Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience, Bury Tomorrow is offering their most intimate, expansive, and sonically diverse work to date. The album was crafted under the direction of producer Carl Bown. Who has perviously worked alongside Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, and While She Sleeps. Bringing a fresh yet intensely personal touch to the band’s music.
Guitarist Kristan Dawson explained that the album’s title and overarching themes are a response to the chaotic, impatient nature of modern life. “In a world full of distraction and demand, patience seems like a rare commodity. In this album, we explore the beauty of that persistence and the peace that comes with it,” Dawson said.
Despite the darker themes of personal struggle, self-sabotage, and anxiety that pervade Will You Haunt Me With, That Same Patience. The band has infused the album with a sense of hope, urging listeners to persevere and trust in the possibility of change. “The album’s message is about how we can all change for the better, even when it feels like everything is against us,” Winter-Bates said.
The album, set for release on May 16th, will feature 11 tracks, including the already-released singles “Wasteland” and “What If I Burn,” along with “Let Go.” Fans can pre-order and pre-save the album now through the band’s official website.
