Deftones fans rejoice! fresh off laying waste to venues across the UK, the Californian Alt Metallers have announced the release of their tenth album entitled private music. For those in attendance at the bands Crystal Palace show back in June, the first tease of the album was shown on the venues big screen with just the title and the date July 7th displayed in Roman Numerals.
That date was to be the release of the albums first single my mind is a mountain,which is the first new music fans have had in 5 years. Written & recorded over a period of 3 years with frequent producer and collaborator Nick Raskulinecz who the band worked with previously on 2010’s Diamond Eyes & 2012’s Koi No Yokan.
Slated for an August 22, 2025 release, the album is now available for pre order via the bands official website in a variety of formats. Check out the video for my mind is a mountain and the albums tracklisting below.
