Lamb Of God Release Their Cover Of Black Sabbath’s Iconic ‘Children Of The Grave’

Following their incredible performance at this weekends Back To The Beginning show at Villa Park. Virgina natives, Lamb of God have released their venomous cover of Children of the Grave by Black Sabbath to the masses!

Debuted live in front of over forty thousand eager fans. Lamb of Gods cover version of the Sabbath classic brought more mosh pits to the golden circle than we’ve ever seen before. Providing an early highlight on an already historic day. It is available now, on all major digital streaming services. Giving those not fortunate enough to attend the sold out event a chance to crank up the volume and experience a taste of the fury Lamb of God brought with them to Birmingham on Saturday afternoon.

“Lamb of God being invited to perform with Black Sabbath at their final show is one of the greatest honours of our career,” says lead guitarist Mark Morton. “As an offering to the celebration, we’ve recorded our take on their classic ‘Children Of The Grave,’ a protest song with lyrics that are as relevant today as they were in 1971 when the original was released.

Black Sabbath invented heavy metal and in doing so, they changed the world. This genre that they created brings immeasurable joy to fans all over the world. We are so grateful to have the heavy metal community to call our home, and so grateful to Black Sabbath for the gift of their music that they’ve given to all of us.”

Lamb of God are currently working on their tenth studio album. Which has some sizeable shoes to fill, following on from 2022’s highly acclaimed release, Omens. Just don’t ask frontman Randy Blythe about shoes right now. After throwing his into the crowd at Back To The Beginning, they’re probably already on eBay!
