Having taken a small break from touring over the last few years. With Zakk Wylde busy out on the road in support of Pantera. His long term side-project, Black Label Society have been back in the news this week. Having recently been announced as one of a plethora of acts at next year’s Bloodstock Festival. Marking their first UK performance in over four years. As well as releasing a brand new single and music video!
Broken and Blind, the bands latest release is packed with all the ingredients we’ve come to expect from Doom Crew Inc. With plenty of wailing pinched harmonics from Father Zakk himself and a punchy chorus that’s reminiscent of their Blessed Hellride era. It chugs along like a Harley Davidson on tickover. Before revving up for a firey duelling guitar solo that see’s the boss trade licks with long time partner in crime, Dario Lorina.
Viking axeman Zakk Wylde had this to say about BLS’s newest track- “The song is about peanut butter and chocolate and what happens when you don’t have any of it. My soul is broken and I’m blind with rage if I don’t have any peanut butter and chocolate, so there you go, it’s a new song called ‘Broken and Blind’. Thank you, have a great day.”
The third in a trilogy of singles, following on from The Gallows and Lord Humungus respectively. Broken and Blind is available now on all major digital streaming platforms. Further stoking the fire of anticipation already burning among fans for a new studio album. Which is tentatively slated to land in early 2026 via Spinefarm Records.
