Classic Download Festival Videos: Iron Maiden – Hallowed Be Thy Name (2007)

Iron Maiden

2013 marks the first time Iron Maiden have stepped onto the hallowed Donington stage in six years. Headlining their third Download Festival this year, after doing so on the festival’s debut in 2003 as well as 2007, their “Maiden England” performance has the potential to be their greatest ever Donington show. For those of you, like us, who enjoy listening to Iron Maiden, we thought we’d provide a little flashback to get you in the mood for their show in twelve days time.

Our classic Download Festival of the day is from the last time Iron Maiden graced the festival, with the song of choice being the always magnificent Hallowed Be Thy Name. Enjoy below:

Tickets to see Iron Maiden, as well as fellow headliners Slipknot and Rammstein, plus 100 other bands are still available from the Download Festival website www.downloadfestival.co.uk as well as the usual Ticketing companies (Live Nation, Gigantic, etc). Come back tomorrow as we continue to look back at Download’s gone by as part of our build up to this years’ event.
