You Me At Six Release New Music Video For Night People – Title Track From New Album

They’d been keeping quiet until recently when they announced their re-emergence with plans for a series of intimate shows across the UK next month, and now we’ve got our first proper taste of new music from You Me At Six.

The Surrey arena fillers have released the music video for the title track to their upcoming new album, Night People. The video has a slightly trippy, White Stripes Seven Nation Army feel to it, and the sound is a bit of a departure from previous “YMAS” material. It’ll be very interesting to see if this is a one off or a sign of things to come. Perhaps they’re trying to “do a Fall Out Boy” in the way that Pete Wentz n co have altered their sound since their comeback two years ago – there are definitely some similarities to be heard. You can hear and see for yourselves below:

A reminder of the full list of dates for You Me At Six’s October 2016 tour of small(er) UK venues can be found here, or alternatively please check out the poster below. The tour is completely sold out, so anyone wanting a ticket will have to brave the secondary ticket market through the likes of Stubhub, Viagogo or Twickets.

Night People will be released on the 13th of January 2017 through Infectious Music.
