Rocksins is very pleased to bring our readers an exclusive preview of the rock and metal weekend of fun known as Hard Rock Hell. For this preview we’ve collaborated with our friends over at Wikifestivals, so enjoy.

Regarded as the final rock & metal festival party of the year, next week welcomes the fifth installment of Hard Rock Hell (also known as HRH). Taking place in the newly refurbished chalets of Pontin’s Prestatyn Sands, tickets for this years affair sold out in just 3 weeks!

Running since 2007, despite the miserable setting of December time North Wales, the short drunken bed bound stagger to your warm chalet, coupled with the metal-head brethren vibe is enough to bring 4000 people back year on year.

(Plus did we mention the personal alcohol allowance to take into the chalets? This includes a choice between 3 litres of wine or spirits, against the choice of 36 cans of beer or cider, plenty of pre drinks to ensue)

Brought to you by the same people who co-organise Hammerfest and run Hard Rock Hell Road Trip (the ultimate metal holiday), this years HRH features 62 band across three days, in a line-up voted for by fans, members of the Dark Circle community and Hard Rock Hell Vets.

Each chapter of Hard Rock Hell features a theme, so expect the Thursday night pre-party to be full of punters drunk and dressed in spirit of the Village of the Damned theme.

Headline highlights of this years line-up include HRH regulars Girlschool, British Prog Rock from Magnum, American Alt rock from Therapy?, Southern metal from Black Stone Cherry, and a festival exclusive from former KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley.

The festival is praised for the lack of ridiculous bar prices and the complete absence of older teens and young adults clutching to particular scenes. Tucked away in your own little metal world, there are many factors that fans love and adore about this festival, so much so that they are willing to overlook the drab living circumstances of the chalets.

But in the true British make-with-and-do attitude, tickets for Hard Rock Hell annually sell faster and faster as the festival develops its dedicated fan-base.

The 2011 Hard Rock Hell Line-up is as follows:
