It’s one of the most eagerly awaited albums of 2014 and Hampshire metalcore five piece Bury Tomorrow have now confirmed the details of their third album. Entitled “Runes”, the album will be Bury Tomorrow’s second album to be released through the legendary metal record label Nuclear Blast Records. Runes will land on shelves and in Mp3 stores on the 26th of May 2014. Having premièred the first single from Runes entitled “Watcher” Monday night on the BBC Radio One Rock Show with Dan P Carter, Watcher is now available for streaming through the Nuclear Blast YouTube channel. Speaking about the bands work on Runes, Bury Tomorrow’s main man Daniel Winter-Bates is very upbeat about the band’s new album:
“Runes is the album we have always wanted to make and we cannot wait for everyone to hear it. Progressing from (2012’s) ‘Union of Crowns’, we’ve tried to capture our favourite era of metalcore whilst blending the nuances of what make the genre so great today. It’s a faster, more aggressive album, but it still sounds like us, we couldn’t be prouder of it!”
To accompany the launch of Runes, Bury Tomorrow have also decided to play a very intimate set of shows around the UK and Ireland. With nine shows in total covering England, Scotland and both halves of Ireland, this could be the last time Bury Tomorrow play such small venues, so if you want tickets, move quickly!
