Sikth Announce Autumn 2014 UK Headline Tour As Part of Download Freezes Over Series

After one of the most popular performances of the weekend at Download 2014, the reformation of one of the UK’s most loved underground bands is complete. SikTh destroyed the Red Bull Tent with a performance of intensity and quality to a tent that was bursting at the seams.

Now, as part of the “Download Freezes Over” series of tours, SikTh will embark on an extensive jaunt across the UK to take their reformation to their fans in all different parts of the country. Mikee W Goodman, Justin Hill, Dan Foord, James Leach, Pin and Dan Weller (whom Rock Sins was able to talk to at Download – keep your eyes peeled for that interview coming soon) will hit thirteen locations across England and Scotland, kicking off in Milton Keynes at the Craufurd Arms on the 29th of October and finishing with a mammoth show at London’s Koko on the 12th of November. Joining SikTh on the tour will be fellow Brits, the always brutal Heart Of A Coward and Idiom! SikTh have also been announced to headline the UK’s Tech Fest festival on the 13th of July. SikTh’s frontman the one and only Mikee W Goodman is very excited about this tour:

“This is so exciting for us all right now. Being back in SIkTh has awoken many feelings and emotions this music brings. We are all loving playing shows again, to such passionate and energetic fans too”.

“We decided we had to do a full UK tour, just one show was never gonna be enough for us. We really want to play our whole set to as many fans as possible. Also we aim to add some ‘never played before live songs’ too. Hope to see you all there!”

Heart Of A Coward’s Jamie Graham is equally enthusiastic about the trek:

“We’re massively looking forward to touring with Sikth – they are one of those bands that were lightyears ahead of the rest and way ahead of their time. Judging by their set at Download Festival, these dates are going to be pretty amazing. Justin (vocals) did a song with us on ‘Severance’ so we’re looking forward to playing that with him as well. See you all there!”

Stay tuned for more SikTh updates including a review of their performance at Download here on Rock Sins in the coming days.
