With news recently breaking of Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody’s ongoing health issues following a recent hernia surgery, it has come as no surprise that FFDP will not be able to play Download Festival 2023.
Fear not, the Download team have organised a more than capable replacement. None other than Download’s unofficial house band, Skindred! Having played their biggest Download slot to date last year on the main stage, they are going one step further this time by headlining the Opus (Second) Stage on the Thursday of Download 2023.
Skindred are likely to face their biggest ever Donington crowd too, with the festival having completely sold out of weekend and day tickets earlier this month (with camping having sold out months ago).
