For a band as well known as KoRn, deciding how to follow up a unique album like 2011’s acclaimed The Path Of Totality, where the band experimented with dubstep and electronic elements on top of their trademark sound and collaborated with DJ’s and producers like Skrillex was always going to be an interesting question. Reuniting with original guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch and having him on board for the writing of a new album for the first time in ten years turned out to be quite the answer. Those eagerly awaiting the first KoRn album with Head back in the fold don’t have much longer to wait, and now the first single from The Paradigm Shift has landed along with a music video. Entitled Never Never, the song shows the continuing evolution (or some might say partial regression back to earlier days) in KoRn’s musical style. Check out the video for Never Never below:

Korn’s new album The Paradigm Shift is being released through the Prospect Park & Caroline International labels and is released here in the UK on October 7th 2013. The album will be released in a wide variety of formats, both in physical and digital format. Anyone who’d like to get their hands on the album in one form or another may find the following links useful:

With only three weeks to go until the release of The Paradigm Shift, hopefully Never Never will tide over the band’s hardcore fans until then. KoRn were most recently in the UK this past June, where they put in another high energy performance at Donington Park as part of the 2013 Download Festival. Our review of their performance can be found here.
