The metal community is known as a friendly, generous bunch of people for the most part, but it’s always inspiring to hear or read about something like this. Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe, along with his wife are taking part in a huge fundraiser for a breast cancer charity. Stories like this always help to reinforce the fact that when it comes to metal news there’s always a lot more than just the music.
They are going to do a 60 mile walk (in Randy’s case, with no training for the event whatsoever) whilst pushing a friend of theirs in a wheelchair the whole time. And to top it off, he’s doing it in some rather fetching fancy dress.
