Masters of comical rock music and even stars of their own movie The Pick Of Destiny, Tenacious D are returning to the UK for a short tour which is scheduled around their appearance at the tenth anniversary of the Download Festival.
Jack Black & Kyle Gass will be returning to the live UK stage for two nights at Brixton Academy, as well as dates in Manchester and Glasgow, in addition to breaking their Download Festival virginity. The tour will be in support of Tenacious D’s third full length album, entitled “Rize Of The Fenix”. The new album arrives on the shelves and online on May 15th through Sony’s music arm. Tickets for all Tenacious D shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 9th of March through all the usual outlets. Some pre-sales may be available through means such as O2 priority tickets.
